Veikkaus scores a perfect 100 in responsible gambling audits
This autumn, Veikkaus achieved a full score – 100 out of 100 – in responsible gambling standard audits conducted by the European Lotteries (EL) and the European Casino Association (ECA). Responsible gambling has been a growing international trend for years, supported by standards developed by global gambling associations to evaluate and benchmark the responsibility work of their member companies.
Veikkaus has long worked systematically across various areas of responsible gambling, and this effort was rewarded with full score for the first time across all eleven categories of the EL responsibility audit.
This marks the sixth time Veikkaus has achieved the EL certificate, having first received it in 2009 as one of the earliest member companies to do so.
In the latest evaluation, Veikkaus also received full marks in the categories of Game Design and Digital Channels. Contributing factors included the use of our ethical game development assessment tool, Gamgard, as well as our updated gambling harm prediction and care measures, which are actively in use.
The audit was once again carried out by the Dutch-based Global Gambling Guidance Group. While full audits are conducted every three years, interim assessments ensure continuous progress between cycles.

Veikkaus has also held the European Casino Association’s certification since its inception.
