Change negotiations support Veikkaus’ renewal: more new positions opening than existing roles ending
In line with its strategy, Veikkaus continues its journey towards July 2027, when Finland’s gambling system will change.
The new market situation ahead requires Veikkaus to reshape its organisation through change negotiations. The negotiation proposal was issued today, Wednesday, 2 September. It concerns Veikkaus’ Data & AI unit, two business units, and Finance teams.
Some current roles are planned to end, but at the same time new positions are opening within the company. By filling these positions, Veikkaus aims to strengthen its position in an increasingly competitive environment.
In total, 15 positions are planned to potentially end, while 17 new positions are planned to be created. Substantial changes may be made to four positions.
The negotiations are estimated to last approximately three weeks.
