Accessibility Statement

Welcome to Veikkaus Ltd's Accessibility Statement. This statement applies to the websites www.veikkaus.fi, www.casinohelsinki.fi, pelaamo.fi, and www.veikkausgroup.com, as well as the Veikkaus mobile application. It was last updated on 26 May 2025.

The websites' accessibility has been assessed through automated accessibility audits and manual content reviews. Siteimprove Oy also conducted an external expert audit.

The accessibility of the Veikkaus mobile application has been assessed through manual evaluations of the application and its content, utilizing an audit report provided by the external accessibility expert Annanpura Oy.

Accessibility status of the digital services

  1. The websites www.casinohelsinki.fi and pelaamo.fi fully comply with the accessibility requirements.
  2. The website www.veikkausgroup.com meets accessibility requirements in all other respects, except that PDF files published on the website before 27 May 2025 are not in an accessible format. All PDF files published on the website after 27 May 2025 are in an accessible format.
  3. The website www.veikkaus.fi is partially compliant with the accessibility requirements. The non-compliances and applicable exemptions are listed below.

We pay special attention to accessibility when developing new digital services and continuously work to correct the accessibility issues identified in existing services. However, both the Veikkaus.fi website and the Veikkaus mobile application still require improvements in terms of accessibility. We kindly ask for your patience and welcome feedback on any shortcomings you encounter.

  • Video or audio recordings published before 23 September 2020
  1. Disproportionate burden

Based on an internal accessibility assessment, Veikkaus has concluded that making the following services accessible would impose a disproportionate burden on the organisation: eInstants (digital online instants), eBingo, online casino games, and online poker.

The nature of eInstants, eBingo, and online casino games makes it technically unfeasible to render them accessible without compromising their essential features. The gaming experience and core content rely on elements such as graphics, sounds, animations, visual effects, and event sequences. Altering or removing these elements would fundamentally diminish the games' nature.

Online poker is a service provided by a third party. The current product was acquired before the Act on the Provision of Digital Services entered into force.

  1. Ongoing development

Accessibility improvements for the website and the Veikkaus mobile application are still in progress, and the services do not yet fully meet the requirements. However, we are continuously working on necessary corrections.

Supervisory authority

If you notice accessibility issues on the website or in the Veikkaus mobile application, please provide feedback to us as the service provider. A response may take up to 14 days. If you are dissatisfied with the response received or do not receive a response within two weeks, you may submit a complaint to the Finnish Transport and Communications Agency Traficom. Traficom's website provides detailed instructions on how to file a complaint and how the matter will be handled.
